Positive Psychology looks at what makes people authentically happy. Authentic happiness is a measure of the overall happiness of a person. We all fluctuate in mood. We may be happy a lot of the time, sad some of the time. That is fine. What is important is the general level of happiness. How happy are you normally? How good do you feel about your life? If you are suffering form chronic stress then it is probably impossible to be happy.
